1492 ltd are currently assisting a leading office and workplace furniture manufacturer in their search for a Project Co-ordinator to join their busy team.
To be successful in this position, you will have experience of working with and understand engineering drawings. You'll have purchased from suppliers, been involved in administration and previously liaised with new and existing clients daily. Good computer skills and 100% accuracy is vital, as is good commercial understanding and interpersonal skills. You should have worked within a busy environment and be able to follow, build and develop your knowledge on new systems quickly.
This role will include some sales support and customer services. It's essential that you have strong estimation skills and previous experience of working with the bill of materials in a manufacturing environment. Other tasks could will include production planning, order placing and purchasing too. If you have confidence, a driven attitude and an ambition to learn new skills, you're likely to be what we're looking for!
OTHER KEY SKILLS REQUIRED ARE:
- Flexibility - we'll need you to be willing to learn and tackle new challenges.
- You should have some knowledge of project coordination.
- Ability to work as a team with other departments.
- Supplier/procurement management.
- The ability to assist the Project Manager to deliver projects on time and on budget.
