1492 Ltd are working in partnership on a retained assignment for a growing bespoke design and manufacturing business who are looking to expand the machine shop workforce with individuals with experience of CNC, setting and basic programming offline and online.
SME business, £10-15m turnover, part of a global group, are very much looking for sustainable growth over the next few years servicing many sectors including automotive with special purpose machinery, complete turnkey systems including robotics.
This role will be working In a machine shop environment and will be responsible for making different types of parts to enable the production processes to be as efficient as possible. This may include jigs, fixtures, clamps or moulds to obtain a more robust consistently produced part that meets the specification of the customer.
We are interested in speaking with individuals with turning / milling experience ideally bespoke or low batch numbers who are capable of operating and setting up the machines and basic level programming would be desirable.
